World of Warcraft 2010 Daily Boxed Calendar (Calendar) (Day to Day Calendar)

This is the first Warcraft calendar I've gotten. I almost got last year's boxed set, but ended up getting the Planet Earth one (which was a total mistake, but that's a whole different story).

Anyhow, as it states on the box, this year's theme is places. Now, the picture on the box is a little deceiving, as I was expecting at least some concept or layout art of the various places of Warcraft scattered about the year, but the whole thing is just high quality screencaps with a note as to where it is. And that's it. No descriptions, no histories, no facts, just picture and where it was 'taken'.

The images themselves are very nice and sharp, the quality is infinitely better than last year's Planet Earth calendar, but I was hoping for at least some concept or layout art. Or even some general facts or tips.

I don't regret my purchase, but I do wish there was a little more to it.

This was ordered as an early Christmas gift. It was well received by an addicted WOW fan and player. He was surprised by an unexpected addition to his WOW collection. A really great gift idea.

Bought this for my husband as he is a WOW freak...he took it to work and torments all his buddies that give him a hard time (in a fun way) about his love of WOW. Not only does he enjoy the calendar but his co-workers do too.
