12 detailed views of Morris designs: What's not to like?,

Somehow or other I've become a dedicated fan of all things Arts & Crafts, to the point where I've organized vacations to get tours of the Gamble House in Pasadena (it's worth it!) and William Morris' home outside London. Getting a calendar of Morris' designs was a no-brainer; I imagined that it'd be a calendar version of, say, Textiles of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Which it is.
Each month shows a 12" view of one of Morris' designs for fabric, wallpaper, or whatnot. It's a one-to-one view so it's just like having a 12" swatch hanging on your wall. That's nice, and it's also a little odd; I keep wanting some sort of frame for the photo as it's edge to edge fabric. But they are certainly very pretty, and will comfortably adorn my office wall throughout 2011.

I buy it every year. I hope the Brooklyn Museum never stops making it. I can't wait for my life to go by so I can see the new design each month.
