I am an avid knitter and also like to keep myself organized, so this seems like the perfect weekly planning calendar for me. Right? Not at all. The less-than-valuable knitting info and charts intrude into this calendar in a way that make it impossible to flip easily from one week to the next. Usually this kind of weekly planner has the images on the left side and the blanks for writing on the right. In this case the blanks meander from right to left and some times a couple of pages interrupt. After I had written in several 2010 commitments, I realized that I was going to spend a whole year being frustrated, so I tore out some pages and stapled together others that backed onto each other. Don't waste your money on this not-for-the-organized calendar.

Disappointing as a desk diary - no place for personal details or room for addresses/phone numbers & contacts. Probably only one pattern I would follow. Not what I was expecting.

This is a great knitting book and calendar all in one. It is in an engagement calendar format and includes patterns, ideas for projects, knitting techniques and ways to organize your knitting stash. I love my calendars to reflect my interests and since I'm a knitter, this is a great calendar for me. The photos are beautiful and the projects interesting and doable. I highly recommend this for any knitter who could use an engagement calendar. It would also make a great present for knitters.
