From the restaurants of today's most creative chefs to the kitchens of savvy home cooks, blueberries have become a favorite ingredient not just for breakfast and dessert but for dishes at every meal. And the doctor approves. The book begins by highlighting the health benefits of blueberries, and then presents 80 fresh, innovative recipes that will appeal to every palate. Featured are such winning creations as Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberry-Peach Compote; Fennel, Arugula, Orange, and Blueberry Salad; and Blueberry Martinis, gathered from home cooks and renowned chefs, including Debra Ponzek and Alain Ducasse, as well as venerable restaurants such as Moody's Diner in Maine. I have 28 Blueberry Bushes so I brought a collection of 10 Blueberry Recipe books from Amazon. This and "Blueberries: 40 Recipes for Fine Dining at Home (Flavours Cookbook Series)" are by far the two best books. Most of the others are just predictable recipes for blueberry muffins and blueberry pancakes etc. I have tried about 6 of the recipes in this book. they are top notch. Try the blueberry steak sauce and dont forget to get "Blueberries: 40 Recipes for Fine Dining at Home" it is as good a one to have if you are like me and are picking 2 gallons of blueberrys a day.

It's August and we've got fresh blueberries on the table at every meal! I've put them in everything from corn muffins and jello, to green salads and a salsa for salmon. Havin'em every morning on my oatmeal and many lunches atop a dish of cottage cheese... even garnished a small cheese & cracker plate with mounds of them along w/ cherries & grapes for a l'il gathering of poker buds a few nights back... love me some blueberries!
This book is a fantastic volume- similar in size, style and heft to Ina's books. Beautiful photos and many great & creative recipe inspirations! It will not disappoint- I promise!
