This is a beautiful calendar. Every day you walk by and look at the picture of the month on the wall, it gives you a sense of peace and tranquility. You will enjoy this calendar -- buy it!!!

I bought this calendar as a gift for my brother, as we both thought the pictures were beautiful. These calendars always make a lovely gift as they are a good quality and last for the entire year.

Love the art, not so much the calendar format this year,

I normally love Thomas Kinkade calendars. I absolutely have to get one each year and immediately hang it on my wall. Not only do I get a calendar to keep my life organized, I get a beautiful piece of art. But I felt the need to write a review of the 2009 calendar this year because of the format. While the calendar format in the past has usually been neutral and complimentary to the art above, this year there are bold borders running around the calendar layout. Some colors are not so bad, while others tend to look garish and take away from the art. January for example, has a deep lavender color bordering the top half, while the sides are bordered with a close up of the piece of art above; the close up in this case being bright red flowering trees. The bottom of each month is bordered with a neutral color and includes a scripture passage which is a nice addition, and I have no qualms with that. Anyway, like I said, other months have more complimentary borders, so it's not all bad...Read more
