This is a terrific little page-a-day calendar. If you like reading the Farmer's Almanac, with all its little-known-facts, tips & practical advice, you will love this calendar, which provides more of the same.

Each day, there's a tip (maybe gardening, cooking, or just how to do something better), or an interesting fact, or a quote which will make you think.

The calendar's design is in keeping with that of the almanac, with all sorts of whimsical and old-fashioned drawings which illustrate whatever the topic of the day is.

At the bottom of each page there are 3 lines (widely spaced), where you can write notes for the day.

I must say, I've often bought page-a-day calendars and lost interest after a short time. But this one has kept my interest.

I bought it for my husband who is an avid reader of The Farmer's Almanac, and we're both enjoying it every day.

We love the Old Farmers Almanac, but this calendar is nothing more than the 1-2 liners used to fill the bottom of pages in the Almanac. It is also MUCH smaller than a normal desk calendar. Major disappointment.
