These are so easy I absolutely get an ego-boost each time I complete one. (Try to do two a day as brain exercise !!). I don't want to be challenged--I want to feel like I have accomplished something and this ENTIRE SERIES allows me that opportunity. YEA for Will Shortz. Keep them coming !

This crossword book is definitely a great find amongst the competetors. I have tried other crossword books with different authors and they are either impossibly hard (though labeled as easy), or they don't adhere to the very simple "rules" of crossword clues. For example, if a clue is plural, then the answer must be plural ("Dogs" ..."Canines") or if the clue is an adjective, then the answer must be an adjective ("Wet"..."Moist"). I am relatively new to crossword puzzles and have become addicted in a very short time thanks to this book. The puzzles are "easy", but a bit tricky so you start to get a feel for how x-word puzzles work, language-wise. I say they are easy, because I knew enough words to get the puzzle off to a good start, but you don't just get the whole thing handed to you on a silver platter. Fun!
