Excellent calendar. Fun photos, not serious art which is rarely sexy. Color and B & W, which usually works the best. The only way it could be better would be if all the photos were on high gloss expensive photo paper -- but then it would cost three times the price. I would rate it a 10 on 10, unless I were back in Vietnam where Number One is the best!

Taschen, the publisher lists the item as being available for shipping on October 14th 2011. The printing of pictures on the calendar should be up to the same standards as the 2011 edition. The gumm spine can be a little weak, with some pages either loose, or can become loose easily upon first viewing, so handle with care and respect the beauty of it all...have fun :)
PS: I tried to perform a review of the Avalanche Press "Ireland 2012 Daily Boxed Calendar", but the item's product page isn't allowing for this action. WHY ???

This calendar features beautiful, classic photographs of "real women," not surgically augmented bimbos. Some of the photos are in color, some in black and white, and many appear not to have been taken all that recently (I'm thinking 1970s or 80s here). Many of them remind me of vintage issues of Playboy magazine and perhaps that is where some of them were first published. Many of the photos are quite innovative, taken at interesting angles, etc. For the modest price, you get one great sexy photo per day (except weekends - one page for Saturday/Sunday). I would highly recommend this for those who like both great photography as well as beautiful women. Not recommended for prudes, however.
