This desk-top calendar is a Kindle download. Some of the cartoons in this work are indeed cute and are chuckle worthy. The art work is quite good but it must be remembered that on the regular Kindle, the pictures will be in black and white.
The subject matter is quite contemporary while at the same time being timeless.
Now the problem is, unless you check your Kindle daily, this particular format is really not all that useful on a reading machine. It should also be noted that I downloaded this calendar when it was free which I thought was a pretty good price...I hate passing free stuff up. But I do note that the Kindle version of this product now sells for over five dollars. To be truthful, while I might pay that much for a hard copy to place on my desk, there is no way I would pay that price for a black and white down load. This book was truthful on so many levels for a teacher. It makes a lot of statements that teachers are THINKING, but aren't always allowed to SAY...(i.e. Desks stacked up like bunk beds to solve that pesky over-crowding issue...) I suggest this book to all teachers, whether elemtary or secondary. You will find something that makes you laugh and nod, and you'll be saying, "Yes, that is so true."
Fun cartoons!,

This is a neat cartoon calendar for teachers. There are cartoons for teachers of every subject and grade level. I have put several of them on the bulliten board in my room and others in the teacher's lounge. The calendar would make a great gift and I've already told my family that I want one for 2013!
