Product Review

Surprising, strange, and often amusing, the stories on the daily pages of the Stupid History 2012 Day-to-Day Calendar give new meaning to the words "stupid history." Culled from Leland Gregory's books, Stupid History, Stupid American History, and his newest release "S" is for Stupid: An Encyclopedia of Stupidity, the excerpts will shock history buffs who will be amazed to learn that the ancient Japanese held farting contests and awarded prizes for loudness and duration, that Al Capone's older brother was a police officer in Nebraska, and that the Harrison County School Board in Mississippi banned a Jewish student from wearing a Star of David in 1999 because it might be mistaken for a gang symbol. Stupid or not, it's history.

I love random facts, and the more ridiculous and random the better. This calendar is perfect for someone like me. I skimmed through the first couple weeks and am every excited for the start of the year to go through it. Fun calendar.

Lots of great historical factoids. Some are quite funny. If you want to be a bastion of useless trivial knowledge( I mean this in the best way ), or if you love history, this is the product for you.
