This calendar has some classic protest images, and some modern graphics too. The pages are a good size, but the actual calendar is squeezed a little by a full column of image history that could have been a little more compact.
On the other hand, it marks holidays from every culture and religion, so you'll always have something to celebrate! ;)
Beautiful well done calander,

The art is of days past, but still, speaks volumes. Each month has an informative caption with it's art. The day squares are smaller but still big enough to write Dr. apt. Holidays seem marked for several cultures.
Excellent!,

I have purchased this calendar for the last 4 years. We use it as our kitchen wall calendar. There are several reasons to love this calendar. The images are always interesting and evocative. There are usually 8-10 social justice stories that are completely new to me and all are new for my children. It is a great opportunity to educate and discuss each months topic with my kids. We all look forward to the coming month's topic and image. I appreciate the variety of holidays and meaningful anniversaries that represent a multi-cultural perspective. On a purely practical note, we USE this calendar and there is enough room for me to write in activities for all four family members.
