I love the idea behind this calendar! I wanted to look at December to see the final scene, but I resisted. I'm pleased with my purchase, but there are a few downsides to this calendar:

1. Because the scene "builds", the months must be flipped backwards. For example, January is the last page, and the other months flip from behind, so the first page of the calendar is December. This is not a big deal, but it does make it more difficult to look up/write on other months.

2. The calendar is hanging crooked on the wall. This may just be the one I received, but the calendar hangs from a single hook, and no matter where I move it it's slightly crooked. (I'm anal about that sort of thing.) I'm considering putting something sticky on the back and just sticking it to the wall.

3. The dates on this calendar are in a column next to the picture. That leaves little room to write, since there is just a single line for each day. I've had this type of calendar before...Read more
