Moleskine 2010-2011 18 Month Weekly Notebook: Black Soft Cover Large (Moleskine Legendary Notebooks (Calendars))

Comment: This planner is pretty close to perfect. The size is great; it's large enough for daily use yet still extremely portable. The soft cover is a plus; a hard cover might make it too bulky. The layout is exactly what I had been looking for; the right side is an excellent place to write down tasks that don't have a specific day but apply to the entire week. Also, there is an appendix of useful information in the front, including conversion charts and time zones. If you travel a lot, this is very helpful.

The only problem I found with this planner is that the pages are pretty thin, and while ink does not bleed through, it does leave an imprint on the other side, which might be kind of annoying.

The delivery issues that earlier reviewers have criticized have been resolved; I received this item one day after ordering it.

Comment: I really love the format of this planner, a weekly view with a full page for notes.

My only problem with it is, unfortunately, a kind of big deal to me. This softcover planner uses a lower quality paper than the regular Moleskine notebooks. The pages are noticeably more thin, so the ink from my favorite brand of pen shows through. Whenever I turn to a fresh, new week, I can see all my notes from the week before.

It's taken me years to find a brand of pen that I love (and they work just fine in the normal Moleskines), so carrying around something with lighter ink suitable for these thin pages doesn't appeal to me. It's easier just to get a different planner.

Comment: I am very happy with my new notebook. It is exactly what I've seen in the stores, good quality--no imitation here. Love the little pocket in the back, only comment is the paper is slightly see through. The ink does not bleed through, but is slightly visible on the backside of a page.

Comment: This is the best planner I have ever owned. Perfect amount of space for writing each day, beautiful pages, and plenty of blank pages to jot down extra things. The leather covers are beautiful and classic.

Comment: I love this planner. Big spaces on the days and a full page for notes or my many to do lists! I highly rec any Moleskine product because they more than live up to their name!
