This review is from: Mensa 365 Brain Puzzlers Page-A-Day Calendar 2010 (Page-A-Day Calendars) (Calendar) I agree with others that this year's version is not as challenging, but I want to suggest they buy the "Mensa Genius Quiz A Day" BOOK. This has a brainteaser for every day of the year and can be reused as the questions are obscure and involved. You'll get the mental exercise you're looking for. Can't be used as a calendar but those are everywhere. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mensa 365 Brain Puzzlers Page-A-Day Calendar 2010 (Page-A-Day Calendars) (Calendar) We've enjoyed the Mensa calendars for many years and this year there are some interesting new types of puzzles. However we were disappointed to discover that it is no longer one page PER DAY. Saturday & Sunday are now combined on a single page. We like to look at a puzzle while eating a meal sometime during the day and do NOT want to see the next day ahead of time. The title of the calendar is therefore misleading (false advertising) since there is no longer a page per day. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Mooz "Mooz" (Colorado) - See all my reviews This review is from: Mensa 365 Brain Puzzlers Page-A-Day Calendar 2010 (Page-A-Day Calendars) (Calendar) Let's see, today is January 22nd, so I've worked through twenty-to of the so-called "puzzles" in this calendar. Of those, FIFTEEN have been some variation of the "word-scramble"/"missing letters" genre. Maybe folks who love crosswords will enjoy this, but it's certainly not for someone looking to actually engage their minds. Sorry, but this calendar's "puzzles" are sorely lacking in not only creativity, but actual challenge. - Disappointed in Denver |
