Having survived "The Big C" twice in the past 10 years, I have spent a great deal of time in hospitals and at countless doctor's appointments. A sense of humor was one of the best things I had while I faced the reality of of my situation(s). It helped me maintain my sanity even during my darkest moments. I can relate to so many of the cartoons in this calendar! If you work in the health field, you will find these cartoons fit right in. I enjoy reading a new cartoon everyday, but I must confess, I sometimes catch myself cheating and reading a few days ahead because they are so funny. If you enjoy medical humor or just cartoons of any type, you will enjoy these too! AND...they look great on my new Kindle Fire too!Kindle Fire, Full Color 7" Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi

Maybe better for people in the business, but I wasn't impressed with it. The Kindle edition is poorly formatted, too. Some of the toons are kind of funny, but most aren't and some are disturbing. Makes me wonder who edited this book. Maybe it's OK for a desk calendar, but for a Kindle book, it stinks. The actual desk calendar would only make a good gag gift for someone who just spent a lot of time in the hospital.

I got this book for free so it is very hard to complain about it! Some people may enjoy this type of thing, but i found it boring and unamuzing at best!
