This review is from: Lord of the Rings 2010 Special Edition Calendar (Calendar) This calendar is in a new format - 12 by 11 but made to stand up on your desk. It has pages inside on rings that flip open for each month. Each month has four photos from the old desk calendars. It's a great idea to put out a calendar in a new format.
And the overall quality of the materials is fine. The part that stands up is sturdy cardboard. However, the quality of the photos inside is terrible. It looks like someone took bad photos or made bad scans of the photos inside from desk calendar pages. It may also be that the background they are on bled through. Whatever caused it, the photos are faded and washed out. I'm not sorry I bought it, because Lord of the Rings calendar options are limited these days, but I hope the next two editions in 2011 and 2012 (to complete the trilogy) are higher quality. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Lord of the Rings 2010 Special Edition Calendar (Calendar) What a fantastic idea to make the format so refreshingly different and so revitalise this product. I love it! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Lord of the Rings 2010 Special Edition Calendar (Calendar) I was a little disappointed by the style of calendar, I needed to see more views of the pictures & the actual months. Payed a decent price for the calendar. |
