My grand-daughter is studying French in school, but also has a great interest in learning German. This daily phrase calendar is just perfect to hone her skills.

I love these calendars: when I am away from people and places, they help me keep in touch with the language. In this regard, daily phrases in the calendar serve this purpose perfectly. However, language reminds me literature, people, land, and culture more than just the contributions to science and technology by the native speakers of the language. As a result, I found the cultural part a bit weak for the generalist. For me? It makes perfect sense: I am an engineer...
