I am very pleased with this calendar. I was looking for something that would (1) fit in my purse (2) had a small pocket to place notes for meetings
(3) was not 'messy' with alot of un-necessary information (4) had large week-at-a-glance spaces to write upcoming meeting dates and notes. (4) had pleasant peaceful pictures that reminded me of life's simplier times. The only thing I was looking for that would have made it perfect was an inspirational scriptural message at the bottom of each page - but I improvised by printing my own on large mailing labels, and then putting them on each page. Which actually worked out better because I could then choose my favorite passages. My adult children have all gone "technical' with their calendars, and have been trying to convince me to do likewise. But there just seems something so 'impersonal' about it - that I shy away from it. I still like something I can pull out and write a 'note' or 'reminder' to myself on, when a thought...Read more

This is my ideal Calendar. All through the day I leave my monthly calendar open to view and add events. And the squares are large enough for several entries. Then I jump to the daily entries and Journal whats new for that day of my first Grandson, Enzo. Yesterday's was a report that that he now puts everything in his mouth and when he's on his back he's looking at his hands and holding objects. Three days ago it says he now is eating sweetpotatoes and likes them.
These entries I plan on making a book for him of his first year. When he's 3yrs. old and a little older, he'll love hearing about himself. Later on his mother will love going through the short day to day growth of her first born. She's just too busy to be writing this stuff down. I also squeeze in my day's highlights.
I love primative art work and so finding a Calendar/Journal with Linda Nelson's art work is a Trifecta!

I love this calendar. Plenty of room to write in, plus a month-at-a-glance feature. New paintings for each page, each one worth framing.
