Large Print 2012 Wall Calendar

Large-print wall calendars like this are hard to find in stores around here. This one just fits on the end of a standard-size kitchen wall cabinet. Both the date/numbers and the blank space provided for daily entries is larger than most calendars of this size which tend to emphasize colorful photographs or other decorative graphics that take up half the space. As a result, this calendar is much more utilitarian than most and this is what we like -- we can see the dates from across the room and there is plenty of space to record daily events, notes and reminders.

However, (and this is why we don't give a 5-star rating), the printing is done on a fairly high-gloss paper. The slick surface makes it almost impossible to write on it with a normal pencil. One is forced to use a pen or marker, which is OK for visibility, but also prevents erasure. Schedules and plans often change over time and the calendar tends to get messy as we cross out and change or delete written entries...Read more

My mother had a stroke a year ago and has problems reading small print or even the average print on most calenders. This large print makes it much easier for her. Thank you. I would definatly recomend this for anyone who has vision problems or is a stroke survivor.

It' exactly what I ordered. Easy to read because of the BOLD FACED large print. You should be able to read it from quite a few feet away.
