Summary: Good small poster calendar 2008-11-17
Comment: I like the Harry Potter movies and I wanted a calendar for a small space. This 2009 calendar is certainly more than adequate for me. It measures 7" x 14" when fully opened and if you'd rather carry it around, it folds to a 7" x 7" booklet.
I felt a little let down when I realized that the calendar has no scenes from the upcoming movie, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." However, it has handsome, individual portraits of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna Lovegood, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy. Also, I was happy to see that the publishers included adult characters too. The calendar features Dumbledore, Tonks, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange. I have to say that I'm not sure how many of these portraits are new. But I did notice one that had appeared in the "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix Movie Poster Book."
Overall, I think this mini wall calendar will make a nice gift for any Harry Potter fan. It'll certainly come in handy when it's time to tick off the days left before the new HP movie opens.
