Product Review

Take a journey through the pages of this calendar to discover the hauntingly romantic stone spirits of Eastern Europe. Angels, knights, maidens and cherubs keep watch over humanity's most sacred ground. They are the soul-watchers, the wish-weavers, the prayer-keepers. Theirs is a song of twilight, emerging from the space between here and there, a living shrine of transformation, burning like a star in God's palm.
Look deep. Listen deeper. They sing of truth, of beauty, of love eternal and of the human spirit guided home. Guardian: Cemeteries and Their Sentinels 2012 Wall Calendar was conceived and created by Angi Sullins and Silas Toball of Duirwaigh, Inc. The photographs were captured on a journey between This Place and That and later rendered into the film "Guardian."

The interior pages of this calendar are printed on 100% recycled, 50% post-consumer paper, processed chlorine free and printed with soy based inks. In addition to printing our products on recycled paper, Amber Lotus Publishing continues to plant trees and offset our carbon footprint with NativeEnergy.

This is a beautifully done wall calendar. The photos are compelling and haunting. It makes me want to visit each cemetery where the photos were taken. But the authors don't give that specific information, possibly to protect the sculpture. Cemeteries are outdoor living history museums and must be protected while, at the same time, encourage people to restore, conserve and preserve the irreplaceable art they hold. The next year this calendar can be used is 2021 and I hope to enjoy it all over again.

Neat pictures, pretty groovy, I liked it. Not too dark as to offend people (I had mine up in an office), and not silly or goofy like some "dark" items can be. Beautiful photography, yet very simple calendar.
