I get this calendar every year, and every year it doesn't disappoint. Vivid colors and shapes of the most interesting insects around.

A friend gave me the 2006 calendar and I found it truly exquisite, captivating, and addictive. I've purchased an Exquisite Creatures wall calendar each year since then. After a couple of years, I purchased six inexpensive 12 inch square black frames, and cut the pages from all my saved and new calendars to fit (take about a half inch off top and bottom of each page using X-acto knife, self healing cutting mat, and metal ruler for straight edge). Now, each month I select four pages from the old calendars that complement the current month's page, and hang the framed current month's photo and its framed date page flanked by past exquisite creatures, which gives me a beautiful display of Marley's photos that changes each month. This calendar is the perfect gift for someone fascinated by insects or by the beauty of the natural world.

I looked forward to receiving this calendar and I am overall happy with it. I purchased the 2010 and 2011 calendars as well, in previous years. My only complaint is that two of the months photos are repetitions from either one of the previous years calendars' ('Blistered Ground Beetles', March 2011, is now enlarged and cropped, March 2012 and 'Coleoptera Mosaic,' July 2012, was similar to another years mosaic [I cannot recall which month or year]). I was hoping for a completely new set. In "Pheromone: The Insect Artwork of Christopher Marley," there are over 250 images they could choose from, let alone what he has not published. Oh well, they are still beautiful to look at and I look forward to purchasing these calendars in future years.
