This review is from: Crochet: 2011 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar) I've bought this calendar every year since the 2006 edition, so this is the sixth one I have, and they are Not getting better with age. First, the boxes used to be a sturdy, heavy cardboard with a small magnetic closure on the edges. The box stayed closed, when not in use, and the loose pattern pages were easy to keep in place. This year the box is a flimsy cardboard thing with no closure of any kind, and the patterns fall out if it is turned over or dropped. Second, the number of patterns has decreased over the years. It is no longer called The Pattern-a-Day calendar as it was the first 4 years I bought it. There are only about 100 patterns and it barely deserves to be called a calendar. Furthermore, most of the patterns included in this year's collection, as well as last year's, can be found for free on the internet. I am thoroughly disappointed in this purchase, and would not recommend it to anyone else. I won't be buying the 2012 edition. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Crochet: 2011 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar) I have purchase the previous versions of this series. While the patterns are okay and I will probably make several, I too am disappointed with the whole package. The box is very flimsy and almost useless. There are far fewer patterns, but they are more complex. I will probably not buy anymore in the series unless the publisher returns to the older style. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
