The Celts perceived the presence of divine forces in all aspects of nature. Patterns of harmony and balance, dark and light, winter and summer, female and male, are woven throughout Celtic tradition. Celtic knots and patterning reflect their belief in the continuity of life, the interconnection of all things, plants, animals and otherworldly divinities. The Celtic Mandala 2011 Wall Calendar presents the magical weavings of Welsh artist Jen Delyth in calendar form. Jen's work is founded in her deep connection to her Celtic heritage. She creates intricate paintings and illustrations, using traditional egg tempera and contemporary digital techniques. Her original iconographic style is inspired by the Spirit in Nature, expressing our mythic connection to the natural world. The interior pages of this calendar are printed on 100% recycled, 50% post-consumer paper, processed chlorine free and printed with soy based inks. A Celtic Mandala Datebook (ISBN 978-1-60237-350-1), a Celtic Mandala Journal (978-1-885394-58-3) and Jen's full-color illustrated book, Celtic Folk Soul (978-1-60237-116-3), are also available from Amazon!

To see the quality of the printing of this calendar I can only imagine the high...Read more

I adore this calendar; its gorgeous and interesting. A lot of people ask me about it; so, it's a good conversation starter. The artwork is complex, pretty and symbolic; I find myself figuring out the patterns when I'm stressed or thinking. I absolutely recommend this!
