I downloaded this when it was free for Kindle, just to see what it would be like. I normally love cat jokes as I'm a cat-lover who loves a good cat-joke, but didn't find any of these to be terribly funny. (Look at the cover image "If you really loved me, you'd buy me gourmet cat food"... yeah, that's about as funny (or, more accurately, not-funny) as most of the inside pages I looked at. Maybe a few of them were mildly amusing, but most... not so much.

There is no functionality to them - meaning that on the Kindle, you can't use them as you normally would use a calendar - to write down important dates, appointments, to-do lists, notes, etc. All you do is flip through the pages to look at them. When I say mildly amusing, I mean it. I am a cat owner and a cat lover, and seeing this for free, I thought it would be a fun thing to add to my Kindle. Looking over it, I was highly disappointed. The cartoons themselves are nowhere near as funny as I had hoped. Many of the same cat tropes are used over and over again, such as scratching furniture and killing animals. I didn't appreciate seeing cats dragging around dead wildlife in one cartoon, for instance. However, this gets 3 stars because I actually did find some of the cartoons to be fun and laugh-worthy. There are more bad jokes than there are good jokes, though, but I cannot fault this since it was free. For costing me nothing, it was worth the investment in time, but I will probably be deleting this off my kindle long before January 1st.

Glance over this if you're an easily amused cat fan, but otherwise, you could take pictures of your own cat and garner the same enjoyment.

I'm glad I didn't pay any money for this product on my Kindle because I don't find the cartoons especially funny. I would not have been pleased if I had paid full price for it.
