Bruce Springsteen 2010 Wall Calendar

I'm a huge Bruce fan, and got this 2010 calendar for my office bulletin board. It's got some nice shots (not sure who took them, but they look similar to Danny Clinch's work). Though one or two images are a bit artsy/abstract, most are pretty straightforward recent posed photos of Bruce. There's only one of the E Street band, though (it might've been nice to have more full-band shots, or some live performance images). I've had other calendars of him that had vintage shots, but this one is quite nice and is authorized, and is a quality item that's worth the $10 it cost (note: the calendar has one page for the last 4 mos. of 2009).

In my opinion, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band are the greatest live performers in the history of rock 'n roll, and Bruce -- along with Dylan and Chuck Berry -- is one of the three all-time greatest American rock songwriters. No other artist's music (except for possibly the Beatles) has touched, moved, and totally rocked my soul as Bruce's has.

That being said, this calendar NEEDS MORE E Street Band shots. They are the greatest backing band EVER, and truly are the backbone of Bruce's music. When he works without them, it quite simply is not the same. And with the somewhat recent passing of organist/accordianist Danny Federici, more than one group ensemble picture is a given. With that in mind, I can only give this calendar three stars at best.

The calendar is in very good conditions!
