Boris Vallejo & Julie Bell's Fantasy Calendar 2011

First of all, fantasy calendars aren't for everyone, and it's certainly a matter of personal taste regarding the juxtaposition of voluptuous women and the various mythical animals. However, my brother has been collecting Vallejo's calendars for over 25 years, and he loves them. It's an annual tradition for me to give him one for Christmas, and it's always a welcome gift. I used to hunt for this calendar in various bookstores, where the availability is on a hit and miss basis. Amazon always carries them, starting as early as October, so I always can order it in plenty of time. Considering also that the purchase is eligible for super saver shipping (on orders over $25), it saves me both time and money to buy it here rather than in brick and mortar stores. Thanks, Amazon.

I have had a boris vallejo calendar every year since I can remember. My kids have grown up loving his art. I am not a fan of the monsters made of metal, too si fi for my taste. I love the fact that when I can't find them locally I can get them fast and cheap on amazon.
