Not what I expected.... and not really appropriate for a Kindle (I have a Kindle keyboard).

This is basically a series of blank screens (no pictures after the cover shot) which have to be navigated one at a time (using the page forward/back buttons). There's a simple table of contents, one entry per month (January to December), so you cannot "jump" to a certain date, for example... only the beginning of the month.

What you are seeing is a blank Kindle page with "Believing in Ourselves" at the top, then a quote, and "Thursday 1 MARCH" underneath, and half to three quarters of a blank page below. It's strange!

It doesn't make sense to me as a "calendar".... I may read the quotes, then delete this from my Kindle. If you are interested in seeing the quotes, you may want to do the same, otherwise, I wouldn't download it.

The picture on the cover is lovely, peaceful. I was surprised when I opened the calendar. No blocks with the days laid out as usual. Each page has the date and under one date was "Bank Holiday." Over the date is the quote of many special women. one quote per day. President's wives, Amilia Earhert,Female Actors,etc. Very good quotes that you may want to take to heart and use for your own daily mantra. You might want to download to your phone app,ipod and other daily use media. I appreciate being able to use this calendar for next year. Download it and enjoy the inspiring quotes.

This book is similar to a tear-the-page calendar. Each day has a single quote on it by a famous woman from Amelia Earhardt to Oprah Winfrey. Some of the quotes are Judeo-Christian in nature and some are not. Each one is tweetable or worthy of a facebook post to be "liked." Hidden among these small treasures may be the new Mantra for your life!
