This was a nice calendar and the pictures are all very interesting and expressive of Adams' work.If you are a fan of Ansel Adams and need a small wall calendar, this is perfect.

This is a gorgeous calendar that pays homage to the great work of Ansel Adams. Having worked in the printing industry for 20 years, I don't know what the person saw who claimed the images are muddy. I compared the photos on the calendar to the images posted on the Amazon site and they are similar, but the printed images on the calendar have richer blacks and more detail. So if you like the images here, you'll love the printed ones.
As for the complaint that the calendar is not spiral bound, the few wall calendars that are spiral bound are usually the cheap ones, in which they don't have the proper printing equipment to do full spreads and instead just patch together 12 sheets of paper. This calendar is not spiral bound and that is a good thing.
