Product Review

With the classic tale running through the entire year, the storybook Alice in Wonderland 2012 Engagement Calendar is a must-have for Disney fans of any age.

* Based on Disney's film version of Lewis Carroll's classic tale, Alice in Wonderland 2012 Engagement Calendar tells the story of Alice's adventures through the Looking Glass.

* The art included in this calendar was created by heralded Disney legend Mary Blair as drawings, color studies, and storyboards for the original film. They elevate the story to a new artistic level perfectly suited for grownups and kids alike.

* Features appearances by everyone's favorite characters, including the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, the Walrus and the Carpenter, and, of course, the Mad Hatter.

But I felt compelled to remove one "star" from my review because of what I perceive to be some basic and easily avoidable flaws.

1) This is by far my biggest gripe. I am dumbfounded to understand why the designer chose to place the same muted image of Alice looking up at the Cheshire Cat on every single calendar page (the pages with the dates). First off, it defies the very function of an engagement calendar because it makes it very hard to read ones own writing on...Read more
