I just got this calendar and its a great calendar, probably the best one Ive ever purchased. Each month is a new exotice place with a great description then other pictures throughout the week. You will not get bored of this calendar

There are very few geographical features that are as fascinating as islands. Over the years I have become increasingly enchanted by them, and they provide a constant source of inspiration and longing.

I love tropical and island themed calendars, and have been using them for years. They are especially uplifting during the long, cold winter months. This particular calendar is probably my favorite. It contains mainly tropical islands, although there are a few non-tropical yet equally warm and appealing islands in the collection (such as Cyprus and Malta). Each month is dedicated to one particular island. The months contain one larger picture of the said island, as well as numerous smaller ones for each date. There are also a few paragraphs that describe the said island in some detail. The calendar is fairly large, and can be used to scribble in important information. The pictures are extraordinary, and not overdone with all sorts of post-production effects.

The 365 Days of Islands 2012 Wall Calendar is a daydreamer's delight. Beautiful detailed colorful photos on heavy high quality paper. Each month, there's a brief introduction to the featured island highlighting the geography, culture and history. The daily photos have a short description of the shot. Plenty of room (1.5 x 1.5 inch square) to write short memos each day, as you plan your next vacation on some exotic island paradise. My only disappointment is that the authors did not include a world map, perhaps in the introductory page, pinpointing the location of each island.
