Any fan of JRRT and Lord of the Rings will dearly appreciate this addition to their collection. Not only is it practical and useful, it is a fantastic keepsake. Just looking at the calendar makes me want to watch the movies again and again. The images are perfect, just perfect.

Since I am an avid Tolkien collector, and already have the first 2 of this particular calendar set, getting this was a must. I love the design and quality of these particular calendars. Even though it is advertised as a wall calendar, I love the fact that it sits well on a shelf or table as well. Mine is currently on the top shelf of my computer desk. Looks awesome.

Other than the fact that mine arrived torn, it's a nice calendar. Good quality pages. I do agree with some reviewers from past special edition calendars that some of the pictures aren't very good quality, but there were only two or three bad quality ones here, so it wasn't that big of a deal. The design is a little peculiar at first but once you find a place suitable for it, it's a great calendar and the hard cover's nice and makes it sturdy.
Now, in my own personal opinion, I think whoever chose the pictures needs to set his priorities. Where are Eomer and Faramir? They're completely absent from this calendar. I can forgive the absence of Eomer perhaps, as his role was played largely in The Two Towers, but not Faramir; his role in The Return of the King was very important, yet there are pictures of extras and none of either of these two.
