Beautiful photos -- most of them in exquisite focus and with appropriate resolution for the size of the printed image. Mentions many international holidays, but doesn't bother to list who you might expect to find celebrating the event. No time of day listed for any date or event. Day boxes are 1.75 x 1.8125 inches for those who like to write on their calendar.
The front says "National Geographic's net proceeds support vital exploration, conservation, research, and education programs." They also say they use soy based inks and paper from "responsible sources" whatever that actually means.
Considering that it reminds us of home, I would probably purchase this National Geographic Hawaii 2012 calendar again.

A bit bigger than the standard size wall calendars, so it's nice if the wall is a bit further away from a chair you sit at. Nice colors, although a few seem over-vivid in green, but it looks warm in the cold of winter. A value for money calendar.
a perfect calendar of Hawaii for me...,

This has beautiful photographs of Hawaii (a couple show building development but all are scenic) and very nice large boxes for each day, so that I can jot little notes as a daily diary for the year. It is a National Geographic calendar, so it is "Earth Friendly with FSC paper and soy-based inks and net proceeds support vital exploration, conservation, research, and education programs." It warms my livingroom desk area with tropical "Aloha and Mahalo"...
