Not useful for a desk agenda,
October 5, 2011 Lynne Garell - See all my reviews
This review is from: 2012 French Country Diary 2012 (Hardcover)
I'd tried to buy this agenda in previous years because it looks like such a tasty slice of France. This year I finally managed to remember to look for it early enough, and was eagerly anticipating its arrival. Unfortunately, this is not the desk agenda that I need. While the design is lovely, I do think the images are a little less than inspired.
But my main complaints are in the production values. Number one, I need a desk agenda that can lay flat (open) on my desk, and this one does not.
Number two, the pages are coated paper, meaning shiny, and that means that they don't take pencil very well and they really don't erase very well.
I'd say that this book is best used as a diary: a record of what you did on a given day, or thoughts you'd like to write down. Not so good for appointments and meetings, which occasionally need to be re-scheduled.
