Product Review

America at the turn of the century as seen through the eyes of an artist best describes the work of Edward Hopper. This fine collection of 12 of his classic works is sure to please any who think that the best things happened artistically at the start of the 20th century. Beautiful landscapes and interesting peeks at real life make this calendar a must half for devotees of the Realist school of art.

What to get the guy who has everything? My guy's an engineer and has been known to lament the boring office & cubicle hangings of his peers. He particularly likes this artist, and last year really appreciated the Hopper calendar I gave him specifically to hang at work. He doesn't have windows, and likes to look at something besides putty-colored walls during his 8 hours there. This year I got him the larger-sized version and it was a hit, again.

Excellent quality stock paper. What they didn't tell you was the arrangement of days on the calendar. On the left, it starts with Monday and ends with Sunday on the right. I'm still not used to it. Considering the price and the lateness of the year, I will have to deal with it until I purchase my calendar for 2013.
