I bought this as a back up option because the almond tree print compact calendar that I wanted was out of stock. I expected it to be cheesy and cheap looking when it arrived but it in fact is very nice looking. The colored images on the cover are richly saturated and go well with the tan/mauve background of the cover(s). The space for the daily entries is modest (a print type paragraph wide)and won't replace a Blackberry but is big enough for moderate use. The adress section in the back takes up room I wish they'd leave a note area since cells phones are our address books now...all in all this was a solid buy and I'd do it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great planner but 2012 version is a downgrade from 2011 version, December 28, 2011

I was worried the bird design in pink might be a little cheesy, but it's subtle and classy (and the background color is a peach/beige, not pink).

There's a elastic strap to keep it closed, which is really nice for tossing in a bag and having it stay together/not eating random items in the bag/keeping post-its from falling out. The 2011 version had this strap plus an attached ribbon bookmark, which was what made it so user-friendly on the go. When the 2012 version arrived, I was very sad to see it doesn't have this. Also it was made...Read more
