Great Calendar... not great paper,

Let me start by saying, I do love the idea of this calendar. The spaces are huge to write in, you have spaces to keep track of everything. I have had multiple "mommy calendars" in the past and I can't live with out them. That being said. I highly dislike the paper this calendar is printed on. I write and write and write on my calendars. I put stickers on them. I use them. The paper in this calendar is not made for writing on. I went through the calendar and added all the birthdays and anniversaries and about half way done I relized that you could see everything through the pages. To the point where it is honestly not usable. I will not be able to use it at all. I would return it except for the fact that I wrote in it. If you write in your calendars and use something other than a pencil you need to keep looking.

I love my calendar. Paper calendars are just for me. I am still not high tech enough to use the digital calendar for all my family charting. This is my second year having this calendar and I love it. I have tried lots of other calanders out there and even tried to make my own. So far this one works the best for my system. It's very large and the boxes are large. This one starts with August 2011 and runs through 2012 which is ideal for me. I already have lots of 2012 activities I have had to write down and am glad I don't have to wait until closer to 2012 to find a calendar. My only grip is that the paper could be a little thicker, but that is just me being picky. I plan to buy these yearly unless something better comes along.

With 3 kids who are involved in dance, soccer, wrestling, swim, and basketball, I always have a lot to write on each day of the month. Add in a husband with a crazy work schedule, and my calendar was always crammed. This is the only one that gives me enough room, and I buy one every year. And my kids like the stickers! I also keep a gmail calendar linked to my husband's to try and coordinate what is going on in the family, appointments, performances, games, etc. But I personally have to have a calendar hanging on the frig to refer to throughout the day.
