This review is from: 2011 Meow Compact Engagement Calendar (Weekly Planner) (Calendar) This is the fifth year in a row that I have bought this little planner for myself. I have always loved the compact size (fits into my purse), minimalist design (no cutesy quotes or anything cluttering up the pages), unique cover designs (I enjoy selecting a new one each year), elastic binding to keep the book closed, and the ribbon bookmark for the week.
Unfortunately, the 2011 version of the planner has evidently eliminated the ribbon bookmark (which I could not believe when I opened my Amazon box) and has cheaped-out on the quality of the planner paper. I'm going to try to glue in some sort of bookmark, as I use that feature daily to easily find the current week, but there's not much I can do about the thin sheets of paper. This may be the last year I buy this planner. This review is from: 2011 Meow Compact Engagement Calendar (Weekly Planner) (Calendar) I bought a Peter Pauper weekly planner a few years ago at a store and have been hooked ever since. I haven't been able to find it at stores for the past two years but fortunately it's available on Amazon.
It's great because it has enough room to make notes for day planning and if you keep little things like movie or concert tickets you can tape the stubs on each day. My favorite part is the elastic strap that keeps the book closed so that things don't go flying out. Just perfect! |
