The calendar is interesting because it features Japanese gardens outside of Japan! The one pictured in the ad is on the outskirts of Kyoto and is part of the Daigo-ji temple complex--some of the most gorgeous temple grounds in the Kyoto area. The calendar is beautiful, and I have it in a conspicuous place in my home.
